Coyote was one who traveled around the earth and did many positive things. Fought monsters and spirits. He taught people how to live. Do things like hunt, eat, and things like clothing. He also put the Indians into tribes.
Now as you can see I have great power and I am the Chief of the Earth
Coyote was thought to be a good warrior but he has also done many things in foolish ways. He has even done some tricks. He loves to do tricks but his tricks may go to far and end up in something harmful.

No, I wonder where he has been.
Coyote was traveling around the earth. Doing the great things that he does. And a spirit comes down and believes that it is time for Coyote to go back to where he came from.; It was the Chief of the Earth, But Coyote didn't believe him.
The Chief of the Earth had to prove to Coyote that he was who he says he was. That being said Coyote asked him to move a lake to the other side of the mountain, Then Coyote was amazed to see it.
The Chief then had Coyote disappear and no one knew where he was after that. The old man says that the message will be sent here and there. Coyote will be the sign of the spirit coming.
