In his short story, Kurt Vonnegut makes the point of how horrible the world would be if we were all equal. In panel one he shows how ridiculous it would be to drag down others to an incompetent level. In panel two he shows how the people would except the handicap's and even want to help create more handicaps. Panel three shows how they would rather have and promote a person who cannot perform his designated job, rather than finding someone who could perform it properly. The fourth panel shows how the handicaps effects people during times of crisis and even in danger them. Lastly panel five shows the consequences of trying to break free of such a horrible law and wanting to be yourself.
