Crafting their wings from feathers and wax, Daedalus prepared their means of escape.
"We must use feathers of all sizes to make the wings strong and light."
"Alright Father, I trust that these feathers will help us fly free from this place!"
Daedalus and Icarus collecting and sorting feathers of various sizes. Daedalus is carefully gluing feathers onto a wooden frame, while Icarus watches eagerly, holding a bundle of feathers.

With wax and wood, Daedalus built wings strong enough to carry them away.
"Yes my child, but beware, we must use them safely"
“They look just like real wings!”
Inside the workshop corner of their cell, Daedalus ties feathers to wooden frames and seals them with warm wax. Icarus passes him feathers from a pile. A small fire flickers beneath the pot of wax.

Daedalus had devised a pair of wings, and with utmost worry for his son, he warned him not to get too close to the sun nor the sea. However, something inside Icarus would take over his father's advice and would eventually lead to fatal consequences
