Subsistence agriculture

Hello Mr. Farmer! Umm actually in our class we are learning about subsistence agriculture.so, can you please tell me more about it...i really want to know

so first let me is primitive farming so basically primitive method of farming is practiced by tribals living in the dense tropical forests area it includes the shifting cultivation nomadic herding the intensive subsistence agriculture is Baptist in densely populated regions of the world farmers make optimum utilization of the land and grow two or three crops annually with the help of irrigation and etc.

OK So, what is subsistence agriculture? this is the type of agriculture that is practiced for the domestic consumption of the farmers so they may sell or exchange the products among the local community but no commercial sales involved.
