Yuan Dynasty Flow Map

Kublai Khan started the Yuan Dynasty in 1271 A.D. He conquered most of China.
In the Yuan Dynasty, the Mongols defeated the Song Dynasty.
Kublai Khan then became the ruler of all China . He united all of China and died 15 years later.
The Yuan Dynasty was made up of 4 social classes, the Mongols, Chinese Foreigners, Merchants, and peasants and farmers.
Expanded trade and agriculture, built roads and extended the grand Canal. Created post office to create better communication, and created 365 day calendar.
In 1368, the Yuan Dynasty declined and put China into another period of chaos.
