In this scene the three witches are giving the news that Macbeth is going to become Thane of Cowder, and soon to become King.
All hail Macbeth. Hail to thee, Thane of Cowder
All hail Macbeth, Hail to thee, Thane of Glamis
All hail, Macbeth, that you shall be king hereafter
Banquo
Macbeth
Why say these great things about Macbeth and nothing about me?

Stay! For I want to know more about these Prophecies.

The three witches are telling Banquo that he won’t be king but his sons will.

Macbeth! The old Thane of Cowder has betrayed us, so now King Duncan wants to give you the title Thane of Cowder
(Aside) Can this be good or bad? If it is good then why do I think of something so bad? I must let fate decide on its own

Two messengers came to bring Macbeth the knews that King Duncan just called Macbeth Thane of Cowder. Now Macbeth is questioning these prophecies that the witches gave him
