After hearing that the nuke is going to go off, Indiana runs inside to find a place to survive the blast.

Once he went inside, He scavenged around for a hiding place.

Indiana ran out of any ideas except one. He opens up the fridge and takes everything out.

Not knowing if it would save him, Indiana hid inside of the fridge to try to survive the blast
