- The British flag was lowered on the 14th August 1947 midnight. whereas two new countries were born — India and Pakistan on the next day.
- Mohammed Ali Jinnah's Ambition
- I want a Muslim state.
- The Nehru's, Indian nationalists wants one independent country to replace Britain's rule in India.
- Mountbatten wants to prevent war
- Ghandi wanted to see India as one country.
- Mountbatten splits India into two
- I think India should split into two, one country is mainly Hindu whereas the other is mainly muslim.
- Mohammed Ali Jinnah wanted to have a separate state just for Muslims.
- Lord Mountbatten wanted to stop the violence between Ghandi and Mohammed Ali Jinnah.
