Genesis 1:31 says "And God saw everything that He had made, and, behold, it was very good."
The Bible tells us that God originally created the world "Very Good"
The Bible says in Genesis 2:17 "Thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die."
Romans 8:22 says "For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now."
Something has changed this world. Now we see bad and good. The "good' things are just remnants of that original "very good" creation while the bad things were a later intrusion, not part of what God originally created.

Beauty and Ugliness
Happiness and Sorrow
Health and Sickness
Pleasure and Pain
Life and Death
Why, God? Why did you do this?
Some people blame God for the bad things in the world, but it's not God's fault!
The bad we see in this world is man's fault. Man's sin brought the curse of death and corrupted the whole creation.
God knew all this would happen and He had a plan to rescue His children from this cursed world.
We think of this present world as home, but it is only temporary. God has a new heavens and a new earth in store for those who believe in His Son's death and resurrection.
