Phoebe saw that Sals closet was full with messy clothes.

Sal finally let's her anger out and she yelled about Phoebe's mom leaving.
In this scene Phoebe says to Sal that she "slouches" and she basically needs another mattress.
This is where Phoebe tells Sal that her CHAIRS are to uncomfy and then Sal just says she understands because she over Phoebe at this point.
