- Susan is so upset without Ada and Jamie, so she goes to London to find them. Susan finds them, and they go back to Susan's house, but little do they know that the bombs had hit her house. Luckily, Butter and Everyone is safe
- The symbol in this story is the horse, Butter. Butter is the horse given to Susan when Betsy had died. Ada had always wanted to ride a horse, and when she saw it in Susan's backyard, she wanted to live with her.
- The end of the story is that Susan, Jamie, and Ada move in with Maggie's family, and Ada continues to ride butter. They live together until Susan can find another place to live. Susan adopts Ada and Jamie, and she can finally get her the surgery for her clubfoot.
