The journey that let us to our national anthem (The Star Spangle Banner).

In 1824 the u.s.a was at war with the British
While the battle was going on Francis Scott Key ( a lawyer )got held prisoner because he tried to save a doctor that was held at the British ship
But sir, he is no use to use anymore.
yes, but he heard our plan to attack . He might tell the others so he has to stay.
The days were very hard for Francis because there was so mush smoke that he couldn't see the america flag.
and 8 months later

The war finally ended and Francis saw that Americas won. It inspired Francis to right a poem about the war which later turn into our national anthem
