Alright, how about this ending? Laertes and and Hamlet duel, but Laertes' sword is poisoned. Claudius poisons a drink for Hamlet, but his wife who was originally married to King Hamlet, drinks it and dies. Hamlet and Laertes' duel is successful since Hamlet does get poisoned, but so does Laertes in the process. Laertes dies, but not before he tells Hamlet that this was all Claudius' idea. Hamlet kills Claudius and after finally getting his revenge dies from the poison on Laertes' sword leaving only Hamlet's friend alive.
Oh that sounds like a great party. I wish I was there to share my own ideas.
What do you mean by that?
Well, I get why all of this occurs since everyone wants to get revenge or hide something. I think there was an easier way to solve all of this, if I were Claudius.
Let's hear it.
Ok, well as a successful killer, it's simple. First I would have poisoned both swords so no matter what one person dies. Then I would poison both drinks: Hamlet's to get rid of that pain and Laertes so he doesn't change his mind and tell people. Then, if needed, I'd kill the queen and can now blame it on one of the dead people and claim self-defense without anyone being suspicious. The Laertes idea I heard in a story called Shakespeare in the Bush.
Well that's definitely one way to approach that. Very very illegal and pathological, but one route he could go.
Alright Doctor Brown, time to say goodbye. That's all the time for this month with the blind killer
His name is Charles Mark, and if you say so. Good bye, Charles.
You are a doctor? I thought you were my cell mate. Lucky you! I might have acted differently if I actually could see you. I don't like doctors.
Alright Doctor Brown I think it's time to leave for you own safety.
Yes officer, I agree. And Charles is definitely not ready to be around others.
Shame. I was willing to show you why I started to like Claudius and show you why I'm so efficient at my job.
