I heard that cyclops roam this island. Lets stop and look around
No! I want to see the man who lives here, even if some people die.
Lets take everything and go!
Odysseus and his crew find an island that has Cyclops. They choose to explore the island and the caves. He decides to bring wine as well.
Ok are you guys ready? Do you guys know the plan?
When they go to Polyphemus(Cyclops) cave, they find a lot of supplies and food to make a fire, but instead of leaving they waited for the cyclops because Odysseus wanted to see him.
Ah! My head hurts, but i must not let those men escape
When the cyclops returns to his cave, he is mad that there are people in his cave.He grabs a boulder to block the exit and he started eating some men and torturing them. Odysseus thought about killing the cyclops, but it wouldnt work because they would still be trapped.
No! They escaped.
Odysseus offers the Cyclops his wine that he brought hoping that he fall asleep before he eats them. When the cyclops falls asleep, Odysseus and his men used a spear to stab the cyclops eye and blind him.
The following Morning, The men hid themselves underneath the sheep. When the sheep went outside, the cyclops held his hand over the sheep to make sure that the men didnt escape.
Odyssues and his men managed to sneak away without the cyclops catching them. They went back to there ship and sailed away, never to return again.
