Yes Maya! Let me explain to you. There are some guidelines that you must remember to write good MCQ items.
Eg:______ is the capital of Malaysia. The capital of Malaysia is ______?
First,Never start with a blank space at the beginning of writing. You must write at the end of the item.
Example : Do not using the same verb repetitively for the answer’s option such as;A. to create a good personalityB. To create a good societyC. To create a helpful neighborhoods
Do not make a repetitive words/phrase in writing the item.
Example: Ali was a ______A. MusicianB. TeacherC. AstronautD. Astronomer
ohhh! I understand that.
Third, Do not make any grammatical clues in the stem.
Example: The purpose of disinformation is not to. The purpose of information is to.
Avoid double negatives words in stem.
Example: Which are the state of Malaysia i. Sarawak ii. Krabi iii. Johor iv. BruneiA. i and iiB. ii and iiiC. ii and ivD. All of the above.
