The honest woodcutter

- There lived a woocutter in a small village with his family. He was sinscere in his work and being honest to everyone.
- Everyday, he set out into the nearby forest to cut trees.In the evening, he brought the woods back into the village and sold them out toa merchant and earn his money so he can make his living possible.He earned just about enough to make a simple living.
- One day, he went to the forest to cut down a tree and he spotted a tree near a river, while cutting the tree his axe slipped out of his hand and fell into a river.
- The river was so deep, he couldn't even think to retrieve it on his own.He only had one axe which was gone into the river. He was so poor that he couldn't afford for a new one. He sat down under a shadow under a tree and hebecame very worried thinking how he will be able to earn his living now!
- He prayed sincerely, suddenly an angle appeared. "Hey there, why are you crying", asked the angle. The woodcutter explained his problem and requested the Angle to get his axe back. The Angle put her hand deep into the river and took out a silver axe, gold axe, and diamond axe but the woodcutter refuses to take them.
- Finally, the Angle puts her hand again deep in the river and get his axe back.The woodcutter excitedly takes it and the Angle gives all the other axes as a reward to the woodcutter for being honest.
