- Arithmetic Density is the total amount of people in an are devided by the total land area.
- Yes arithmetic density is important for many reasons such as figuring out populations.
- Physiological
- Physiological density is the amount of people in a given area per unit of arable or farmable land.
- Agricultural
- Agricultrual density is the amount of farmers per unit of arable or farmable land.
- Arithmetic Density is very important because you could get a rough number of the population in a given area and how dense it is there, Such as China, China has a large population that is very close together. Such as Shanghai they would have a very high population with tons of density.
- Physiological Density is also very important because everybody needs food to survive so to figure out where you can farm or where to set up farms is super important but also you could tell with this information which cities or towns get fed the best by these farms and can encourage farmers to farm at this specific place.
- Agricultural Density is once again very important, The amount of farmers in developed nations is much lower than in less developed places because in First World Nations technology makes up for the lack of manpower which is becoming sort of a problem as less and less people want to farm. This is important because countries can encourage more people to become farmers when we are starting to run out on them.
