Rainsford hears gunshots and then falls of his boat when trying to investigate. He then swims to Ship trap island.There he finds the remains of a hunted animal.
The hunt
Rainsford finds a Palatial Cheatu after following the remains of the hunt.He meets Ivan and General Zaroff.At first Ivan tries to kill him but then general Zaroff comes.

Rainsford is trying to survive the first day of the hunt by putting distance between him and general Zaroff .He tries to make a hard trail to follow. Somehow General Zaroff finds him.

After avoiding general Zaroff Rainsford reaches death swamp and begins making traps.The one is death swamp kills one of Zaroff's dogs.After some traps he jumps of Ship Trap Island.
After making 3 traps that kill a dog,Ivan and injure Zaroff he jumps into the sea to escape Zaroff and then duels him after swiming to his house.Rainsford wins.
