- Hi, I am going to talk to you about water pollution ,and it's causes, effects and how to prevent it to keep our earth safe!
- Water pollution is when waste, chemicals, or other particles cause a body of water to become harmful to animals that need the water to survive.
- Acid rain is one of the causes that lead to water pollution. When the acid is in the water it can harm aquatic animals and sometimes it harm us too!

- A human cause of pollution could be from fertilizers used in farming.
- water pollution occurs when harmful or toxic chemicals enter water bodies. Oil spills are toxic materials that can get into water from boats or other places. oil spills can be harmful to aquatic animals.
- Pollution in the water can reach a point where there isn't enough oxygen in the water for the fish to breathe. And this will make fish die and it also may affect us humans when we eat those fish!
- Acid rain results when gases, such as sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxide, are released into the atmosphere and they chemically react with the clouds, and when the cloud can't hold anymore it rains with acid.
- You can help save our planet! Fresh and clean water is a precious resource. and we should not waste it!
- Heavy rains can wash fertilizers used on farms and lawns into lakes, rivers, and streams. These fertilizers can negatively impact water quality and cause toxic kinds of algae to grow.
- Water pollution also poisons a lot of fish that's if they don't die, a fish can be poisoned because of oil spills algae blooms, sewage, and garbage.
- To protect our water, we should reuse reduce and recycle.
