Chapter 6- Holden v.s. Stradlater

Home from his date with Jane , Stradlater is annoyed with what Holden has written for his composition.
"For Chrissake, Holden. This is about a baseball glove."
composition
"So what?"
Holden snatches the composition from Stradlater and throws it in the trash.
"You don't do one damn thing the way you're supposed to."
composition
"All right, give it back to me, then."
Holden forgets about the composition and is curious about Stradlater's date with Jane.
"Ya crazy? How the hell could we go to New York if she [Jane] only signed out for nine-thirty?
"Did you go to New York?"

Holden continues to question Stradlater about his date, but does not get much detailed information.
"That's a professional secret, buddy."
"What'd you do then?"
composition
"Get your lousy knees off my chest"
Therefore, Holden tries to attack Stradlater, but gets pinned down.
"What the hell's the matter with you?"
