- Siddhartha Gautama was a very rich man but was not happy because of the great suffering others were experiencing from the Caste System. He also began the Buddhist religion but more on that later
- So he began a journey to find answers
- But Nobody could give him any answers

- One Day he decided to meditate under a tree in Gaya he stayed in the meditating state for 7 weeks
- While meditating he realized the 4 Noble Truths and the Eightfold Path
- He tought his findings to others and many of the lower class people were overjoyed and called him The Buddha or "The Enlightened One"
