Текст на Статията
Daniel Adkison started working at pizza hut when he was a freshman in high school and would have to work immediately after school.
The main reason he worked there was to get out of the house because it was encouraged to do so.
Daniel Adkinson worked on the sinks and washing dishes when he first started
"I started working at Pizza Hut in December 1989, when I was afreshman in high school."
Daniel gets upset because it was his time to leave but he had to stay until he fully finished.
"Parents in my town encouraged us to work...It kept us out of trouble" and "Having a job also kept me out the house."
Daniel Adkinson went and asked for a different workplace because he was tired of doing dishes
"The Pizza Hut was old, and in the back it had three giant sinks instead of a dishwasher."
Daniel Adkinson sees his name is removed from the dishes shift and is very happy.
"My shift was supposed to end at 9 p.m., but when I asked to leave, the manager Jeff, shook his head and told me not until work is done."
"One slow midweek night I managed to catch up on dishes, I asked Jeff when I could do something different."
"A few days later, when I reported for my after-school shift, I saw my name not in the dishes box but yet in the make table box. I was ecstatic.
