- It was a beautiful day in the forest. Simba, the king, was waiting for his best friend Alex.

- Suddenly, we heard all the animals screaming!

- We ran as fast as we could, to the direction from which the screams were coming.

- We reached the middle of the forest and guess what we saw? THE FOREST WAS ON FIRE!
- King, the forest is on fire; we need to extinguish it as fast as we can..
- I have an idea! We can extinguish the fire using the river water.
- Alex brought some of his friends also to extinguish the fire; and after a few hours, we put out the fire;

- Later that day, I asked Alex a question...
- That's a good question Simba. Forest fires are caused due to deforestation and global warming. Global warming is caused due to the increase in the earth's temperature through greenhouse gases and carbon dioxide. Due to deforestation, the amount of carbon dioxide also increases in the air, which can prove harmful to both plants and animals.
- Alex, I had a question. How do forest fire occur?

- We humans, need to decrease the amount of trees we are cutting every day. Instead, we can plant more trees and save the environment. For that , we need to educate people about the need of planting more trees. What do you think? Won't you help us also in creating a better change in the environment?
- Then, we would need to take preventive measures against global warming as soon as possible as it can affect the whole world. Alex, how can we prevent global warming?
