Přehled Aktivity
Studenti si musí uvědomit, že naše slova mají důsledky. Když jsou oběti šikany, zažívají strach, úzkost a sníženou sebeúctu. To může vést k tomu, že oběti změní své chování a zájmy a ujistí se, že jsou v bezpečné situaci. Často to končí izolací a ztrátou předchozích zájmů, jako jsou sporty, kluby, socializace. To může také vést k extrémnějším výsledkům. Pokud se oběti cítí, že nejsou přijaty, mohou si vytvořit nebezpečné návyky, které jim pomohou vyrovnat se s tímto stresem. To se může projevit jako závislost, porucha příjmu potravy nebo dokonce sebepoškozování.
V této aktivitě studenti vytvoří časovou osu oběti šikany. Činnosti, jako jsou ty, které jsou uvedeny, mohou studentům pomoci vizualizovat dopad jejich slov tím, že jim pomohou myslet, než začnou mluvit. Cílem této činnosti je zabránit šikaně. Poté, co studenti dokončili práci, diskutujte o tom, jak může dlouhodobý účinek přetrvávat do dospělosti.
