- I am Brantley. I am learning to use the potty.

- When I eat meals, my tummy feels happy. Sometimes, after I eat, I feel a little push in my tummy. This means it is time to go to the bathroom!

- I go to the bathroom. The bathroom is a special place. It has a toilet where I can sit down. I will pull down my underwear and pants, it is important to do this so I can sit on the potty comfortably.

- I sit on the toilet. Sitting on the potty is important for pooping. I can relax and take my time. Sometimes I might feel nervous, but I remember it’s okay. It’s nice to feel clean and happy after I use the potty

- When I poop, I will feel proud of myself! After I am done, I need to wipe my bottom. I can use toilet paper to help me stay clean. If I need help, I can ask a teacher

- Next, I will flush the toilet. The sound of the water is loud, but it is just the toilet helping to keep things clean.

- When I finish washing my hands, I can leave the restroom. I feel happy and proud because I used the potty like a big kid!

- I can tell my teacher or friends, “I went to the potty!” It feels great to share my success. I am learning and getting better every day!

- After that, I will pull up my underwear and pants. I can look in the mirror and smile because I did a great job!
- Now it is time to wash my hands. I will use soap and water to make my hands clean. It is important to wash my hands to keep myself and others healthy. I can sing a little song while I wash my hands to make it fun!
