Final LES-sons: Wrapping Up the Discussion

Hey Thandi, you actually came. I didn't think you'd come to the last class.
Hey Nala. I figured why not because despite how I felt beginning of the year about LES I really started enjoying it and learning so much that will help me even after I graduate.
I know right! I totally get what you mean; I didn't know how to reference before and although I'm still having some issues with getting it right, I have a foundation which I can build on so that in mainstream I don't battle that much.
True, I'm so grateful for Thabisile because her lecture slides provided in-depth explanations and we also had the tutors who explained further during tutorials. The continuous essays allowed us to practice our referencing, so although the essays were a lot they were very effective.
That was a good last lecture and overall I had a good year with LES, I do wish my essay marks were a bit higher but I will use the feedback my tutor gave me to work on my weaknesses but honestly the only thing I could have done to better my marks is going more in detail in my essays and working on my referencing.
I agree with you, and apart from the referencing LES has also taught me how to think critically and to apply my work which has changed my way of thinking.
