- Nina, please don't leave to go to New York...
- Sorry Cove...
- You bet I do!
- Wanna' watch some more "Create You?"
- Please write back Nina...
- Nina's dad is a great painter, so he gets a job offer in New York. That is super far away from where Nina and Cove, two best friends, usually live! Nina moving away is permanent, not temporary, so Cove and Nina have a hard time letting each other go.
- LOVE IT!
- While Nina is away, Cove goes to her favorite clothing store, "Sal's" and finds out that instead of seeing the manager in the shop. she sees a teenage boy named Jonas. He shows Cove a show where contestants make clothes that represent them; it is called, "Create You." After Cove sees it, she goes to Sal's everyday to watch it together with Jonas.
- Cove continues to write letters to Nina asking her about New York City, and what she does during her new, exciting life, but Nina doesn't reply right away as Cove expects.
- Now Cove, just go out there and tell your story...

- Cove got help from a woman named Anna, who was great at sewing, to help Cove make a dress, because in order to submit an application to "Create You," you have to submit a piece of clothing as well. Cove was thinking about going to the show because it is in New York, and she can see Nina that way. She has a black dress now, and she can submit the application.
- After Cove tells her mom about the application, she gets in the show as another contestant. Her mom decides that she will go with Cove to the show in New York, even though she usually never leaves the island. After all, she decides that they are in this together.
- Cove finally gets to meet Nina in New York when she is about to go onto the show. Nina talks to Cove about how nervous she is feeling and makes her feel better and way more confident. After, Cove is ready for the show and takes action!
