10-26 Social studies (PART 2)

Fellow British men, we need to figure out a way to keep everyone happy and safe. That is what today's meeting is about. The Indians are upset about our citizens moving onto "their" land. What shall we do?
One day the British men of the British Government hosted a meeting to discuss the situation concerning the Indians and their citizens. Then someone came up with a wonderful idea about making a document stating that the Indians shall have the land that they want and that their citizens shall not bother them in their land.
Hmm...maybe we should make a document saying that they can keep some land while we keep some and that our people shall not bother them!

The British Government men met up with the cheif of the Indian tribe and told him about the idea and he liked liked it so they scheduled a time to when they could sign a formal document.
Hey so we came up with an idea. It's called the Proclamtion Line. You get certain land and we keep out of it. Deal?

They signed the document which was know as The Proclamtion of 1763. They all applauded.
