Rome will be hard to defeat. Greece has fallen apart.
Battle of Corinth
When Alexander the Great died, there was a great gap in power. Soon enough, Alexander's empire was split between his generals which weakened Greece as a whole.
After Alexander the Great's death, Ancient Greece was known as Hellenistic Greece. This is when Greece truly fell into decline. The real centers of Greece all moved to Egypt and different parts of turkey.
When the Greeks were in decline, a civilization in Italy (the Roman's) climbed to power. As the Roman's continued to overpower Greece, Greece thought of them as a threat. Rome broadcast war on Macedonia and defeated Macedonia in 197 BC.
Rome didn't give up on their conquest of Greece. They were finally defeated at the battle of Corinth in 146 BC. From this point on Rome dominated Greece. Regardless of being conquered by Rome, Greek culture stayed the same and made a heavy impact on Rome.
