- The first thing necessary for a families to function, is that everyone receives the care and support they need!
- The second function of the family is adding new members! This can be through adoption, or as in our case, procreation!
- The third function of a family is socialization of children. When children are exposed to socializating with others, they will better be able to prepare for adulthood.
- The fourth function of the family is keeping order depending on the families values and beliefs. For example: Not putting you toys on the kitchen floor to prevent tripping on them
- The fifth function of the family is keeping up the family morals and motivation to do specific moral tasks
- The sixth function of the family is that they're able to provide healthcare, goods, and services to their family, usually through some kind of job or work.
