I believe in gender-neutral parenting. I think it's important to raise children without imposing gender stereotypes on them.
I don't agree with gender-neutral parenting. I think it's important for children to have a strong gender identity from a young age.
I understand that you feel that way, but I think there's a lot of research that shows that gender stereotypes can be harmful to children. For example, studies have shown that boys are more likely to be discouraged from playing with dolls, even though this kind of play can help them develop empathy and emotional intelligence.
I get that, but I think it's important for children to understand that there are differences between boys and girls. There are physical and emotional differences, and I think it's important for children to have role models and understanding of how the world works.
I agree that it's important for children to have room to explore their identities, but I think it's also important to have clear boundaries and expectations. I think it's important that parents have a strong understanding of their own values and beliefs and that they pass those on to their children.
I understand that perspective, but I also think that it's important to allow children to be themselves and have the freedom to make their own choices. They'll be better off if they're given space to explore and understand who they are.
