- I thank the Academy of Sciences for the great honer it has done me....
- but I believe that this honor is not only for me...
- For many years, Pierre Curie and I have devoted all our days to work on...
- our joint discoveries of radium and polonium...
- I therefore believe that I am interpreting
- the thinking of the Academy in its true sense
- by saying that this Nobel Prize that has just been awarded to me
- is also a tribute paid to the name of Pierre Curie.
