The Effects of Cyber Bullying

Hello Class of 2024! Today we will be talking about the effects of cyber bullying based off a senior last year. We are encouraging those of you that are active on social media to THINK before you TYPE. Because words can hurt, even if their on a screen!
She loved creating fun music videos from the comfort of her home and often posted them on her YouTube page where she had a small following
LA LA LA OH YEAH UH HUHOOooOO
However, after about a week of posting she immediately began receiving harsh feedback from a student at this school who would  bully and tease for her voice and looks.
YOU'RE WORTHLESS MY DEAD CAT CAN SING BETTER THAN YOUDO US A FAVOR AND GET A LIFE
Students began to pick and tease on her in the hallways, she felt hopeless and alone, all she wanted was to make people happy!
What a LOSER!!!!
No one understands me!
She began to consult with our schools counselor and had the courage to keep posting despite the hateful remarks. She began to tell herself....
If I can just touch ONE person then it'll all be worth it!
That's the SPIRIT kiddo!
The cyber bully apologized and even began appearing in her videos, they are still friends to this day!
