- Right now, across the world, there are kids who are living in dangerous environments that have to fight for survival experience violence at such young ages. An example being the kids in Gaza fighting for their lives tryingto survive all the airstrikes and Israel Soldiers taking them hostage and killing them.

- I'm sure we've been told by our parents "Most kids don't have what you have."Even though we often look past it, this phrase is true. Some kids can't even afford to stay alive, just like how some children live right now, starving, no family to get them through hardships, all alone. To survive, they fight wars that don't even involve them, forcing these young children to fight alongside armed forces.
- Joining armed forces at young ages, being exploited and manipulated whenever adults choose to, losing their innocence and childhood at early ages. No child, especially under 18 should be fighting in a war.
- Some of these kids don't even live until the end, and die at early ages because of the brutality they endure. Most of these kids were lucky they even made it out alive, and now, because their determination allowed them to survive, it's now our turn to give these kids the experience they lost at early ages, for them to finally regain a sense of normality and find peace amongst the community.

- Right now, there are people currently helping these former child soldiers regain their life in a new area, like a fresh new slate in their life.Some are currently being sent to places that specialize in medical support and focus on regaining stability in their mental health, and getting the support they need.
- There are even some getting adopted so they can experience what it's like to have family by their side again. Most of these children lost their families during wars, and wasn't able to rely on anyone for help; but now, they are re-experiencing trust in others and finally feeling comfortable in their new homes.
- And in my final words, I'd like to say how by helping these kids regain their childhood, even if they're old, helping them could really mean a lot. Even though some may not care, just think about it for a sec. You haven't experienced anything they did, and by you not giving them a chance in the community, you're forcefully pushing them away from becoming healthy citizens once again, and lowering their chances of living normal lives. You can also take this time to think about if you were a former child soldier struggling to fit in the community, wouldn't you want someone's help to guide you?
