  • I think it would because we have recovered lost profits from COVID19 and the margins are currently increasing
  • I cannot believe that he is still asking such questions but knows where the business is standing and what is at stake should employees go on a strike

  • Then the time has come for us to engage with labour law and request for collective bargaining, your BCEA rights are being violated
  • Nothing has been done regarding our grievances by Shoprite Management and the other employees are threatening to protest.
  • Mr.Bheki is wondering if he is being fair to his employees and is thinking of engaging with his HR team to make an informed decision.

  • Most businesses afford more than what they are offering and Mr.Bheki is clearly showing that he knows Shoprite can do right by the employees but chooses to turn the blind eye and not spend the money the business make. Priya has to hear from him what she has to do

  • We have been lenient on you, today I demand that you meet with your HR Department and make changes on the contacts of employees that have been working here for over five years and I want to see the budget you have in place for the overtime employees!
  • A conclusion was made by Mr.Francis that they have to represent the employees and have to collectively bargain for workers to get paid for overtime worked and demand full-time employment forthose who have been working for more than five years.

  • Susan shows Luvuyo that what has eased her pain is the action the Union will take, forcing Mr.Bheki`s hand to turn in their demands and Luvuyo admires the employee`s determination as he knows hoe Mr.Bheki treats his staff.
  • I am better, but what makes me feel better is the decision taken by the Union not by Mr.Bheki
  • Mr.Bheki gave in on the demands by the Union representative as he had already heard the sides that of the HR, Finance Department and the employees.
  • I have spoken to my HR Department and they are working on the matter, these things take time and I also want to see my employees happy and working effieciently.
  • The employees are anticipated about the outcome and some believe that the Union will help them win.
