- High Angle ShotDripping noise in the backgroundSergeant Major Morris while returning to his camp ran into a man who had collapsed in the middle of a street. He ran over to check if he was alive but found a mysterious paw in the man’s hand.
- Morris’s Trip Home
- 1st person point of view footsteps in dirt noise As Sergeant Major Morris is walking back to camp he is curious about the paw and wonders why the priest had it.
- Found the Carriage
- Overhead shot from rooftop crowd cluttered noiseWhile disembarking the ship after the long voyage home, Morris couldn’t find his carriage that he called for while the ship was making port. So he decides to wait for it.
- Arrival at the Whites’ House
- Side-view of the deck of the boatocean waves crashing against the hullAfter throwing up over the starboard side of the deck for the second time, Sergeant Morris decides to go below deck to get some food and sleep. When he wakes up 11 hours later he is very groggy and tired from scurvy so the rest of the trip is very miserable.
- Scenic Shot over LandscapeBumpy Wagon SoundsWhile riding in the wagon Sergeant Major Morris is pretty excited to see his friend Mr. White and the rest of his Family.
- Distance shot of the carriage pulling up rain from all directions As Sergeant Major Morris gets out of the Carriage he thanks the coach and nervously walks up to the front while using the rain to fix up his hair and wash out the bad memories of India, to greet his old friend and tell himself the tales of his journey.
