I know that how did the subsistence crises happend and the consquences of the crises in france.
The crises happend because the population of france rose fromabout 23 million in 1715 to 28 million in 1789 which led to a rapid increase in the demand for food grains and the production of grains could not keep pace with the increasing demand. which caused in the death of many people because of hunger and the prices also rose thats why the lower class people were not able to buy food which led to their deaths.

The Bengal Famine was caused beacause of the ongoing threat of world war- including malaria, starvation and malnutrition and this also affected the economy of bengal. Population of Bengal declined by 33% or 4%. Most affected people were fiserman, transport workers and other casual labours by the dramatically increasing price of rice.
