  • Oh man ... I forgot to study for our quiz today. Do you mind summarizing it a little for me?
  • Didn't I warn you about checking your schedules daily? But since I'm a great friends, then I'll give you a brief sumary.
  • That was my fault. I was haivng too much fun binging on Netflix the other night.
  • Well, you should try to be more responsible. Anyway, we learned about species and poppulations from last week's meeting.
  • I will! Okay, please do the honors in summarizing the rest of what we learned last time.
  • So Mr. Greg talked taught us about how there were 2 types of species. They are abiotic and biotic factors. Then, he also taught us other important keywords such as habitat and niche, along with their own types.
  • Types? What do you mean by that?
  • Yeah, types. So apparently, biotic factors are divided into different types of interaction like predation, herbivory, parasitism, mutualism, disease, and competition. Oh! And he also mentioned about the carrying capacity and population growth.
  • So ... I'm guessing population growth has to do something with datas?
  • Yeah, you're right! The population growth actually involves a J-shaped curve and an S-shaped curve. By the way, carrying capavity may be difficult to estimate—if you're wondering.
  • Wow ... I sure did miss a lot from last meeting's lesson, huh?
