1. Doctors performed an elaborate operation and inserted a flexible tube into his heart's chamber or vessels, known as catheterization. It was revealed his heart attack was a sign of Coronary Heart Disease.
2. HOWEVER..., his heart's chambers quickly depleted of blood, and a defibrillator was used to stop his heart and revert it to normal, so its blood flow would resume.

Ryan was very fortunate to be alive and promptly recover from his surgery. Now with a scarred heart and medication, the man finally reflects on his past decisions.

Ryan stopped constantly eating at Danny's Diner, and instead consumed more fruits and vegetables to add variety in his diet. His high LDL levels caused cholesterol buildup in his arteries.
