Torture

Robert Catesby and his Catholic recruits rented a cellar under the House of Parliament, filling it up with 36 barrels of gunpowder. On the night of the opening of Parliament, they would ignite the gunpowder to blow up the king. A man named Guido Fawkes was assigned to carry out the plan.
The execution
During November 5th 1605, during the Opening of Parliament. Guy Fawkes went to the rented cellar to carry out the plan and blow up Parliament. However, during his attempt to ignite the barrels, he was discovered and taken into custody.
He was tortured for days, stretched out on a rack. William Wade, the lieutenant of the tower, interrogated Guy Fawkes during his torture period. He eventually revealed the names of his colleagues.
Guy Fawkes and his colleagues were captured and given a severe punishment. They were publicly hung, drawn and quartered for everyone to see. They were hung to the brink of suffocation, then got their organs ripped out. They then got cut into pieces. Guy Fawkes jumped off during his hanging, killing himself before they could kill him.
