- Coraline is a snarky and adventurous 11 year old. She didn’t want to move to her new house. But one day she was so bored so she decided to explore. she had found a brick wall behind a door. But when she was sleeping, she heard a loud noise coming from the brick wall. When she opened the brick wall, she fell into another world that looked similar to her original world.
- When she met the other mother, she thought she was nice and welcoming. She was very wrong. The other mother is trying to trick coraline into staying into this world. Coraline doesn’t want to stay her. so the other will only let her go if coraline finds her parents and the souls of 3 ghost children. the cat helps coraline find them before the other mother does. The other mother still doesn’t let Coraline go (even though she found the souls) she Coraline throws the cat and escapes.
- Coraline thought she had fully escaped from the other mother. She even had a picnic with a fairy and a little boy who both used to live in the house (she knew the other mothers hand was following her, looking for the key on coraline neck). Coraline saw hand and acted as if she didn’t, so the hand thought it was doing a good job at hiding. Coraline got up and went to the well and leaned on it. The hand tried to grab the key (and i think it did) but it fell into the well along with the key to the other mother’s world. Coraline grabbed some wood planks to cover up the well opening so the hand couldn’t escape.
