Politics used to be seen as a sacred moral duty, but today it has completely stripped away all religious elements.
Exactly, power is no longer about answering to a higher authority, but has become a purely worldly game of control

Spot on. Since politics is totally separated from spiritual guidance, people feel that absolutely anyone has the right to lead. The problem is, people can now become leaders even if they totally lack moral, spiritual, or intellectual qualifications. Success is just measured by money and popularity, while traditional moral authorities are pushed aside.
Exactly. And because we've lost that sacred anchor, the standards for our leaders have really dropped. It used to be that a politician's moral character actually mattered. Now, anyone can run for office.

It’s pure irony. When you strip the true sacred meaning out of politics, values just become temporary and relative. Faith is no longer used as a real moral guide for the nation. Instead, politicians downgrade it into a cheap tool just to win votes and gain influence. In the end, society's morals suffer because there is no longer a solid standard of right and wrong in public life.
But here is the weird part. Even though spiritual values are left out of how the government is run, politicians still use religious talk all the time, especially during elections. Why is that?
