- My Town in Baghdad is right near the water, so it is easy to get water to drink and easy to trade
- Geography and Navigation
- According to my calculations, we have to walk northwest for 2 more miles and we will be at our destination
- Ugh, Good were almost there we've walked so far today
- Medicine
- HELP! My brother went into the sea to get some water and a jellyfish STUNG him. Nobody in my family could urinate ( I heard that helps the pain go away) on him so now I have to go to the medicine store to get medicine.
- When caliph Al-Mansur Moved his capital to Baghdad we located right by the water which was good for us. Many people call it the most glorious Muslim city. Every day we also have a call to prayer at the mosque. Mosques express the religious faith of there builders.
- Art and music
- A work called the book of roads and provinces provided maps and descriptions of the major muslim trade route. Some travelers also wrote guidebooks to help pilgrams to make the journey to mecca to fulfill the hajj
- Mathematics
- I am going to learn algebra from Father al khwarizimi.
- Hospitals were open to all people in the 10th century and baghdad already had 5 of them. A persian philosopher named ibn sina wrote a medical book that explored the treatment of diseases and become one of the classics in the history of medical schlorship.
- Recreation
- I have to go to the Recreation center to play chess with my friend.
- Art was very religious, and Muslims were known for the fame of art. A type of design called arabesque took its beauty from the natural world.

- The muslim Scholar that founded algerbra was names ak khwarizimi. He was a mathmetician and founded algerbra which is what class i am in right now.
