- It is a person who wants to stop or abolish slavery during the 19th century.More specifically, these people wanted the immediate and full release of all enslaved people.
- Of course it is related, the Civil War was about only one issue slavery.John Brown and other radical abolitionists wanted a war to free the slaves and instigate insurrection.
