- These red squirrels were thought to be extinct but were found again 20 years later. They have been impacted badly by forest fires and disease.
- There is no food! Joe says that there is a fire I think we should run before we all die.
- The 10-year average wildfire frequency went from more than 80,000 a year in 2000 to 160;less than 63,000 a year in 2020.
- we have to sacrifice ourselves for the sake of the children!
- There is only about 200 of these little guys left in the wild after they were once thought to be extinct in 1950. A fire could kill these guys for good.

We could go with and water some of it with a helicopter and drop some water or even get a huge hose for it. Or plant many trees to give the area shade that will keep the water.
