Traditional animals are easy and boring to hunt, but I have found a new, more exciting animal to hunt, the human.
Sanger Rainford was on a boat heading to hunt jaguars while passing through Ship Trap Island. He is speaking with his companion Whitney.
Climax
You... will be the next animal I hunt.
Rainford falls overboard and begins to swim to Ship Trap Island. He finally reaches Ship Trap Island and hears a gun shot and a dying animal.
Falling Action
Rainford goes deeper into the island and meets Zaroff. Zaroff tells Rainford that animals are too easy to hunt and that he had found a new animal that is exciting to hunt. That animal is the human.
Resolution
I have won the game.
Zaroff tells Rainford that he shall be hunted next. He gives him food and weapons' and sends him into the forest.
Rainsford has manageed to avoid General Zaroff for some days. The dogs and Ivan have gone after Rainsford but he has escaped. Now, as Zaroff fis chasing him, Rainsford jumps into the ocean and stalls out Zaroff.
Rainsford swims back to the island and sneaks into Zaroff's home. He declares he has won the game, but he is not done yet. He begins to fight with Zaroff. Rainsford defeats Zaroff and decides to celebrate by sleeping.
