- One day a man named Jimmy sat in his home watching television. As he is watching, news flashed on-screen where floods are happening in some countries due to the lack of trees.
- Jimmy had an idea to gather his neighbors for a tree planting activity. He then made a slogan saying “Plant trees with me! Let’s help our society to stay away from floods and calamities! -Jimmy” and posted it around the neighborhood for the neighbors to see.
- “Plant trees with me! Let’s help our society to stay away from floods and calamities!

- On the next day, Jimmy saw people outside his house waiting for him with planting materials, baby trees, seeds, and many more at hand. He was surprised that his neighbors were generous enough to read his slogan and participate in his movement.
- Michael, what’s your reason for participating in this movement about planting trees
- By the way Michael, how long have you been planting trees?
- They started walking towards a place near their village where there is plain land. As they were walking Jimmy talked to a neighbor named Michael about the reason he helped and how long was he doing tree planting.
- You know what Jimmy, my reason for participating in this movement of yours is that it can help our planet earth recover from the calamities that are happening. Trees can also emit the oxygen that we require to live. Trees minimize stormwater runoff, reducing erosion and pollution in our rivers and perhaps reducing flooding consequences
- I have been doing this for almost two months.
- They arrived at the place and started planting right away, taking short breaks, and helping each other to finish fast before the day ends.
