We must keep unity in our country.
The French government felt like their leadership was being threatened by the citizens of France, so they created the Reign of Terror. This sparked numerous massacres to occur, but brought unity to the French. The reign began on September 5, 1793.

Our economy needs to be repair from this destruction if we want to have a future as a nation.
To fix our government we must re-establish the committee of public safety.
France's economy was drastically failing due to war costs, so they needed to come up with a plan. To protect the country from enemies and from foreign and domestic problems they re-established the Committee of Public Safety.

Napoleon becomes consul of France
Bow down to the new ruler of France, Napoleon!
I will be your new leader
Finally, there is hope for France!
Napoleon was a French soldier that rose in military ranking. He ended up overthrowing the French government and became the consul of France (ruler) in 1799. He gave hope to the citizens that their nation can be and will be restored. This event eventually led to the end of the revolution.
