- The fourth amendment
- In this scenario without the fourth amendment a family is forced to have their house searched for no reason. They will be late to work/school and their house will be messed up.
- Your house looks suspicious. Open the door so I can search it.
- But I just cleaned my house, and I have to leave for work. I will be late now.
- The fourth amendment protects everyone from unreasonable searches and having your house searched without a warrant. The police cannot search your house or belongings without reasonable suspicion or a warrant. Without the fourth amendment police could search your house at anytime and delay you greatly.

- You stole a car, so I sentence you to being a bus driver without pay for the rest of your life.
- Eighth AmendmentIn this scenario without the eight amendment a man will have a completely unfair punishment, and the constitution will allow it.
- This punishment is cruel and unusual, if only there was something I could do about it.
- The eight amendment protects against cruel and/or unusual punishments, so that if you were to be sentenced wildly unfairly the constitution would protect you. Without it judges could sentence you to death for shoplifting, cut off your arm for being late to school too many times, or even worse.

- In this scenario without the third amendment a family is forced to move out of their house because soldiers have required they let them stay there. Third Amendment
- We're so sorry, we have to move out because soldiers need our house.
- The third amendment protects us from being forced to give up any room in our house to soldiers. If we didn't have the right to not house soldiers we would not have enough room in our house to house them all. Even during times of peace having to feed and house another person or multiple people can be stressful.
