Peptidoraptasarous Natural Selection
Storyboard Text
- The peptidoraptasarous lived peacefully in rivers and lakes. Their blue fur allowed them to camouflage with the water and hide from predators.
- Woof, we are peptidoraptasarous
- Oh no, where are the peptidoraptasarous? I can't see them
- Woof
- One day, the humans started to oil and junk that they didn't need into the peptidoraptasarous' river.
- Oh no! The humans are polluting our rivers with trash and oil. It's slowly changing color!
- I don't need this junk, so I'm going to throw it into the river where it won't affect me!
- Woof
- The water slowly turned brown and black due to the oil. Because of this, the peptidoraptasarous weren't able to camouflage with the water anymore.
- Woof
- Noooo, the water turned black and our blue fur doesn't camouflage with it anymore.
- Wow! I can see the blue#160;peptidoraptasarous now! I'm going to eat them now
- The oil changed my fur and now I can continue to hid from my predators!
- The predator of the peptidoraptasarous is able to see the blue furred peptidoraptasarous. Some of the#160;peptidoraptasarous adapted and their fur changed color from the oil
- Woof. I blend into the water
- Oh no! My fur doesn't blend into the water anymore. I have a high chance of getting caught!
- The#160;peptidoraptasarous population slowly dwindles down over time as the blue furred#160;peptidoraptasarous get caught by their predators, while the dark furred stay alive.
- I can see the obvious blue furred#160;peptidoraptasarous. I will eat them all
- Woof
- Eventually, the population of#160;peptidoraptasarous became all dark colored fur because of the regular blue colored fur#160;peptidoraptasarous all got eaten due to natural selection
- Oh no, I can't see the#160;peptidoraptasarous anymore
- Woof! We are hidden now
